Appleby Projects in Hong Kong

25 years in Asia

Appleby's Hong Kong office celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2015 by making three sizeable charitable donations chosen by clients, and Appleby colleagues.

  • Save The Children - Save the Children is the world’s leading independent organisation for children. The charity works to resolve the ongoing struggles children face every day — poverty, hunger, illiteracy and disease.
  • Food Angel - Food Angel is a sustainable Food Rescue & Food Assistance Program launched in 2011 with the ultimate goal of achieving Waste Not Hunger Not. The Organisation has been in effort to rescue edible surplus food from the local food industry.

Other organisations we support through funding and in-kind donations include:

  • Oxfam Home for Dinner - The objective was to raise the awareness of the public about the imbalance of food supply around the globe. The campaign aims to help those who suffered from food shortage due to intensified desertification problem, and bad living environments around the world.
  • Fruity Friday - To encourage healthy eating and raise awareness of the importance of a healthy diet, Appleby's Hong Kong office continued to support the Fruity Friday organised by World Cancer Research Fund Hong Kong.
