Christopher Cope is a partner and Group Head of the Dispute Resolution department in the Isle of Man. Prior to joining the firm Christopher practised as a barrister for 10 years. In 2001 he relocated to the Isle of Man and joined the firm and was appointed as a partner in 2004.
According to Legal 500 UK 2016, Appleby is "highly regarded" for its insolvency litigation work in the Isle of Man, Christopher is commended for being a 'Leading Individual' in the same directory. He is named as a 'Leader in his Field' by Chambers UK 2014 to 2017. Chambers UK 2016 said Christopher "is very bright and unflappable. I think he has a good, measured approach." Most recently in Chambers UK 2017 Christopher is hailed as "real heavyweight" and "an excellent commercial litigator".
Christopher has also spoken at various conferences, including the C5 conference on fraud asset tracing and recovery.
