Donald Miller is a senior associate in the property team and a member of the Corporate practice group. Prior to joining Appleby, Don practised corporate and commercial property law in Canada; he also previously practiced for over eight years with the firm of Charles Adams Ritchie & Duckworth in the Cayman Islands as head of its property department.
Don represents clients in a wide variety of residential and commercial property transactions including purchases and sales, leases, bank and private lending, and secured transactions; he also advises on commercial matters such as local company formation, structuring and licensing, and shareholder and financing agreements.
Don obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada in 1994. He was admitted to the Cayman Islands Bar in 2002 and re-admitted in 2013. He was also admitted in Saskatchewan in 1995 (currently non-practising) and British Columbia in 2012 (currently non-practising).
