Commenting on his appointment, Alan said: “This is a privilege and honour for me personally and for Appleby. Arbitration is growing in importance in the region for commercial disputes, in many sectors and for all kinds of parties, given it offers confidentiality, commercial certainty and arbitral awards can be enforced cross-border thanks to the New York Convention. I look forward to supporting the important work of CI-MAC to ensure clients are fully aware of the benefits it can bring.”
Norman Klein, Managing Partner, Appleby added “CI-MAC is the Cayman Islands leading institution for international and commercial disputes and Alan’s appointment showcases the value of his expertise in this field.”
