The Appleby interns are Max Blakeney, Jasmin Brown, Tiffany Cooper, Louis Hammond, Malcolm Hendrickson and Za’Khari Turner. The AGS interns are Imani Bell and Leah Shaw.
Appleby’s newly designed 8-week summer internship programme for students interested in a career in law, includes departmental rotation every 2 weeks with an assigned lawyer as mentor, and the inclusion of case studies, presentations, lunch & learns and additional online training. The programme has been designed to foster a collaborative learning experience, with interns rotating in pairs, providing an enriching opportunity to learn from both their mentors and peers. The departments include Corporate, Insurance and Dispute Resolution. Interns will also be involved in a unique mock trial project.
The Appleby Global Services (AGS) summer internship programme includes a dedicated mentor with exposure to different departments, providing an opportunity for students to learn various aspects of the business, including onboarding, corporate administration and compliance, over a series of weeks.

- Max Blakeney, recently completed a Bachelor of Laws (Honors) at University of Buckingham and will be commencing a Master of Laws. Max also interned with the firm for the past three summers;
- Jasmin Brown, is currently completing a Bachelor of Laws with Sociology at University of Kent. Jasmin also interned with the firm last summer and is the 2023 Legal Education Scholarship recipient;
- Tiffany Cooper, recently completed a Bachelor of Laws at Cardiff University and will be commencing a Master of Laws. Tiffany interned with the firm last winter and is a 2023 Legal Education Bursary recipient;
- Louis Hammond, is completing a Bachelor of Arts in History at Durham University. Louis plans on pursuing legal studies upon completion of his degree.
- Malcolm Hendrickson, is completing a Critical Criminology and Law-Plus Program (Honors) at Brock University;
- Za’Khari Turner, is completing a Bachelor of Laws (Honors) at De Montfort University.
AGS:
- Imani Bell, recently graduated from Bermuda High School and will be commencing a Bachelor of Laws at University of Leicester. Imani interned with Appleby last summer;
- Leah Shaw, recently completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in Music at Johnson University.
