Further commentary and feedback in this year’s guide included the Isle of Man’s top-ranked Corporate team being praised for its “great strength in depth” and ability to “always locate the correct expertise for the matter in hand”. Similarly, the office’s Dispute Resolution practice, which was also ranked in Band 1, is “a team with international scope and heft” as well as a “very good appreciation of the commercial ramifications of the application of Isle of Man law”.
Industry sources noted the Guernsey Dispute Resolution practice “always provides a very high level of service in all circumstances” and is “adept at keeping on top of the case, managing procedural matters, and acting as a very effective link between the clients and counsel”. The Guernsey Employment team is “professional and high-quality” and has the capability to “pull out the stops when a matter is particularly pressing in relation to time turnaround”.
In Jersey, the Corporate team, which is recognised for representing “a prominent group of international banking clients” is described as “very efficient and a trusted collaborator in getting deals done”, while the Dispute Resolution team’s “key strength is their breadth and scope”, with further commentary noting how the firm “frequently acts on fraud-related issues including asset tracing and freezing order applications”.
