LEGAL EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP
The Legal Education Scholarship is an annual scholarship for Bermudian students studying law and who have the intention to return to Bermuda to practice. They will also have the option to apply for summer internship opportunities.
This year’s Legal Education Scholarship, valued at $30,000, is awarded to Khayl’la Ball.
- Khayl’la will be attending BBP University of Law (Leeds) in September, starting her Postgraduate Diploma in Law.
Appleby/Berkeley Institute Scholarship
The Appleby/Berkeley Institute Scholarship is an annual scholarship, with the possibility for renewal for a second year, for current graduating students of The Berkeley Institute.
This year’s Appleby/Berkeley Institute Scholarships, valued at $40,000, are awarded to Christopher Jackson and Zene Wade.
- Christopher completed Dual Enrollment with Bermuda College and Berkeley and will be attending Eastern Michigan University in August, studying Educational Psychology;
- Zene completed Dual Enrollment with Bermuda College and Berkeley and will be attending Bermuda College in September, starting her Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry.
Legal Education Bursary
The Legal Education Bursary is an annual bursary for Bermudian students studying law and who have the intention to return to Bermuda to practice. They will also have the option to apply for summer internship opportunities.
This year’s Legal Education Bursaries are awarded to Skye Burrows, Tiffany Cooper, Anthony Howell and Candace Paynter.
- Skye will be attending University of Buckingham in September, continuing her LLB;
- Tiffany will be attending Cardiff University in September, starting her LLB;
- Anthony will be attending University of Leeds in September, completing his LLB (Hons);
- Candace will be attending University of Leicester in September, completing her LLB.
