The awards bring together Asia’s leading female lawyers to celebrate their achievements and recognise the advancement of women in the legal profession throughout the region. The awards also support the Women’s Foundation with all proceeds raised going towards improving the lives of women and girls in Hong Kong.
Judy, who also won the Offshore Award in 2013, has over 25 years of offshore and onshore experience in listings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Singapore Stock Exchange, as well as in mergers and acquisitions, private equity investment and other corporate finance transactions. She practises a wide range of Bermuda, Cayman Islands and BVI corporate law and in particular has extensive experience in the structuring and setting up of Cayman investment funds in Asia and regularly advises on Bermuda and Cayman court-sanctioned shareholders privatisation schemes of arrangement.
During her career Judy has won numerous awards and has been repeatedly recognised by the legal directories as one of Asia’s leading lawyers, with a strong corporate finance, capital markets and investment fund experience. In addition to Judy’s success, Partner, Fiona Chan, was also recognised in the Rising Star – Finance category. Fiona advises on a full spectrum of banking and finance, non-contentious insurance, and private client and trust matters, relating to the laws of Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands. Fiona has nearly 20 years’ experience and has been widely recognised by clients and the legal directories.
