Published by Eversheds Sutherland in collaboration with other international firms, Appleby lawyers authored the chapters for Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Isle of Man, and Jersey.

The Global Guide to Freezing Orders sets out whether a freezing order (or equivalent) can be obtained in each jurisdiction, the test for doing so and the types of assets which can be frozen. It also explains the implications for third parties (such as banks) who are often notified of such orders to give effect to them, and the consequences for both respondents and third parties of breaching such orders.

All 90 jurisdictional chapters are available to view online at Eversheds Sutherland’s dedicated Global Guide to Freezing Orders webpage.
