Sam’s new position is a tribute to his hard work and dedication to the firm. Sam, who won the Company Law Prize for the highest mark in his recent Jersey Law Course examinations, returned to Appleby in 2021 as a paralegal. In his role, he actively supports the team in advising both local and international clients on a diverse range of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance law, private equity structures, and corporate finance. Sam collaborates with a team of specialized advisors and also contributes to Appleby’s capital markets/listing services division, providing regular counsel to clients on the listing of Eurobonds, High Yield Bonds, and other specialized debt equity on the International Stock Exchange.
Expressing his thoughts on the promotion, Sam stated, “It has been a privilege to develop my career here at Appleby, where I started as a work experience student, collaborating with talented colleagues across our jurisdictions. I look forward to the further challenges and opportunities that my new role brings.”
