Oratile Jonas is an Associate in the Corporate department. Prior to joining Appleby, Oratile’s experience was predominantly in reorganisations, cross-border transactions across the Sub-Saharan Africa specifically focused on mergers and acquisitions and in country and cross-border private equity transactions.
Oratile was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2019, having trained and qualified at one of South Africa’s leading commercial law firms.
Oratile attended the University of Johannesburg (South Africa) where she obtained BCom and LLB degrees. She is also a member of the Law Society of the Northern Provinces, South Africa.
