Damon, a key member of the Dispute Resolution Practice Group, is relocating from the Cayman Island office to the Hong Kong office as a Counsel. Damon has a proven track record in commercial litigation, fund disputes, restructuring and cross-border insolvency. His clients include multinational corporations, financial institutions and high-net-worth individuals. Damon excels in guiding clients through all aspects of a dispute, from preliminary instructions and investigations through to trial and enforcement. Prior to joining Appleby, Damon served as a senior lawyer for two leading onshore law firms in Sydney, gaining a wide range of litigation, restructuring and insolvency experience.
Yan is joining the Hong Kong Corporate team as a Legal Manager. She brings a wealth of experience in advising investment funds, asset management, and regulatory matters, specialising in structuring, formation and operation of private equity, venture capital, hedge and SFC authorised funds. Prior to joining Appleby, Yan worked with two leading onshore law firms in their Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Beijing offices.
