As a law firm committed to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion, we continue to focus on programmes which raise awareness and foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected. The full Appleby team, spanning ten global locations, will participate in ‘Unconscious Bias’ workshops throughout May and June to encourage colleagues to reflect on their own beliefs and behaviours, and cultivate empathy and understanding.
We are excited to be sponsoring and supporting a number of the local Pride festivals taking place later in the summer, reinforcing our commitment to ensuring our firm reflects and supports the vibrancy and diversity of the global jurisdictions in which we operate.
Malcolm Moller, Appleby Group Managing Partner and Chair of our Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee, said: “Our leadership team continues to develop the Group’s vision on diversity and inclusion, and continuing our visible support for Pride Month aligns with this approach. Providing space for collaborative learning and the opportunity for our team to better understand the impact of bias and stereotypes helps to foster a culture of acceptance and respect, and an inclusive future where every voice is heard.”
