Ashley’s hire is to support Appleby’s leading offshore M&A and Finance practices and Ashley will primarily be working with David Bulley, Hong Kong and Mainland China Managing Partner, on public and private M&A mandates and Fiona Chan, Partner, and Lily Miao, Partner, on Finance mandates.
Prior to joining Appleby Ashley was an Associate at Bracewell LLP in London and prior to that trained at Ashurst LLP in London, during which time she was seconded to Credit Suisse. Ashley is qualified in England and Wales (2021).
Commenting on the hire, David Bulley said: “I’m delighted to welcome Ashley to our Hong Kong office. Whilst many offshore firms are reducing their Asia based practices at this time, Appleby continues to grow as we pick up an increasing market share across multiple practice areas.
