Paula joined Appleby in Guernsey in 2018 and has more than 19 years’ experience as a lawyer of which nine years have been spent in Guernsey. Her work covers both non-contentious and contentious practice. She has been particularly involved with a number of momentous decision applications, including one relating to a deferred prosecution agreement, various mistake applications, trustee removal applications and the removal of a protector.
Paula is well acquainted with a broad spectrum of trust and estate related matters, including the establishment of trusts, foundations, private trust companies, the preparation of wills and the administration of estates. She also advises trustees, protectors and beneficiaries.
Paula said: “I am delighted to join the Guernsey Bar and feel very welcomed by the legal community here in the Bailiwick. I have also been well supported by my colleagues and the team at Appleby throughout the qualification process”.
