Bio

Anna is an Associate* in the Dispute Resolution team in Guernsey.

Anna has experience representing both individuals and corporate clients in a wide range of complex, high value, multi-jurisdictional disputes. Anna has acted in claims involving allegations of conspiracy, dishonesty, misappropriation of funds, shareholder disputes, as well as asset recovery and asset tracing matters. Anna has also advised individual and corporate clients on the UK sanctions regulations and co-ordinated international sanctions advice from the US, EU and other jurisdictions.

Prior to joining Appleby in February 2025, Anna worked in the UK at Mishcon de Reya.

Work Highlights

Prior experience:

  • Representing an ultra-high net worth individual in $250 million LCIA arbitration involving a complex shareholder dispute in the IT sector involving claims in misrepresentation and duress.
  • Representing a defendant in Magomedov & others –v- TPG & others, involving 32-parties across two unlawful means conspiracy claims valued at $14 billion, challenges to the jurisdiction over a combined three-week hearing, and applications for freezing injunction relief. The claim is the largest in the Commercial Court outside of class actions.
  • Acting in a multi-billion pound dispute for high-net worth individuals in a highly contested global fraud and estate matter across numerous jurisdictions including England, Panama, Monaco, Latvia, Cyprus, Switzerland and the USA.

Anna qualified as an English solicitor in 2023.
