Ashley Chung is a Legal Manager in the Corporate department of Appleby’s Hong Kong office.
Ashley’s practice focuses on cross-border finance transactions. She also advises companies on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other general commercial matters including ESG considerations.
Prior to joining Appleby, Ashley was an associate in Bracewell’s London office and trained at Ashurst London. Ashley was also a secondee at Credit Suisse.

- Advised Assala Energy UK Limited on their reserve-based facility with Citi, Natixis, ING Bank N.V., BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole and SCB, among other banks
- Assisted Maurel & Prom in refinancing their $600 million term loan facility with MUFG and other banks
- Advised BP and Eni on raising $2.5 billion through a pre-export financing arrangement made available to their joint venture
- Represented lenders to the Tamasuk-led consortium in financing the development of construction villages for the NEOM mega-city project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
