Bio
Cathryn Minors is Counsel in the Corporate department of Appleby’s Bermuda office. Cathryn has a wide range of experience in corporate and commercial matters, having worked in the Bermuda market for many years advising on insurance and reinsurance matters involving life insurance securitizations, catastrophe bonds, special purpose insurers, and long-term and general business commercial re/insurers. Cathryn also has extensive finance experience, having worked on securitizations and general banking matters.
Prior to joining Appleby, Cathryn worked in the corporate department of two other leading offshore law firms in Bermuda and Hong Kong. Cathryn’s experience also includes working as legal counsel for a Bermuda-based life re/insurer.
She joined Appleby in May 2024.

Cathryn holds an LLB (Hons) from University of the West of England, and completed the Legal Practice Course and Masters of Laws in International Legal Practice at University of Law, Bristol (formerly the College of Law). She was called to the Bermuda Bar in 2015.
