Christopher Reed is a Partner in Jersey specialising in corporate and funds matters, in particular, mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate group structuring and restructurings, fund establishment and family office arrangements, as well as general corporate governance matters.
He has extensive international experience, including in emerging markets, advising sovereign wealth funds, family offices, global corporations, private equity and venture capital investors and ultra-high net worth individuals in relation to a wide range of high-value, cross-border M&A, private equity and real estate transactions.
Christopher’s practice has a strong focus on the Middle East region, and he regularly works with clients and intermediaries from the region. He is committed to working collaboratively to deliver the best outcome for his clients, producing pragmatic commercial and user-friendly legal advice.
Before moving offshore in 2015, Christopher worked for almost a decade in private practice for onshore international law firms in both London and Moscow. Prior to joining Appleby he worked in the Investment Funds & Corporate departments of two leading offshore law firms.
