Emily is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution department in the Isle of Man. She joined the firm as a trainee in 2016 and qualified as a Manx advocate in 2018. With over five years of experience in civil and commercial matters, Emily has developed expertise in high-value contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters. She advises and represents liquidators, trustees in bankruptcy, receivers, and creditors on various aspects of the insolvency process.
In addition to her insolvency work, Emily has experience in foreign and local judgment enforcement (where she has acted for various parties including banks), fraud and asset tracing, freezing injunctions, and Norwich Pharmacal applications. She also contributed to a large team involved in a high-profile takeover and transfer scheme.
Emily’s experience extends to Immigration Law, further broadening her legal practice.
