Bio

Ross is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution department in the Cayman Islands. His work focuses on commercial litigation, fund disputes, restructuring and cross-border insolvency.

Ross is admitted as an attorney-at-law in the Cayman Islands. He was previously admitted as a solicitor advocate in England & Wales.

Prior to joining Appleby, Ross gained a wide range of litigation, arbitration, and restructuring and insolvency experience working for Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan UK LLP, Linklaters LLP and BT Hong Kong.

Before qualifying as a lawyer, Ross commissioned at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and was a British Army officer for over 10 years, including on operations in Bosnia, Sierra Leone, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

He is a member of INSOL International, the worldwide federation of national associations for accountants and lawyers specialising in turnaround and insolvency, and RISA (Recovery and Insolvency Specialists Association) Cayman, the affiliated organisation in the Cayman Islands.
