Suhaylah Juman is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution and Corporate team.
She joined Appleby in September 2021 as an Attorney-at-Law after having previously been an intern at the firm in 2017 and 2018.
Suhaylah gained experience during her pupillage at the Attorney General’s office and under the guidance of a Senior Attorney. She was involved in the preparation of cases in relation to a range of civil matters including succession, family law, landlord and tenant, personal injury and employment law disputes.
She has a keen interest in civil and commercial procedure and has an excellent understanding of both English common law and French civil law.
She speaks fluent English and French.

Suhaylah holds a first class Bachelor of Laws with honours from University of Mauritius and successfully completed the Vocational Examinations for Attorneys at the Council for Vocational and Legal Education in September 2019.
